Thank You for the Follows
You all energize me with your support.
The last week has pulled me into the sky and down beneath the earth repeatedly. I’m not quite ready to write about it. I don’t know if I ever will be, but I know that the numerous drives I’ve made have helped me release the pain and heaviness in my heart. And I know that reading and writing here on Medium has helped keep me afloat.
I wanted to thank everyone for following me. To my coworkers, who all exuberantly added me even if they didn’t have an account. To my friends who’ve read my short stories and encouraged me to write more. To the writers from the publication I help edit, Promptly Written (thank you Ravyne Hawke for the opportunity!). To strangers on Medium who decided to give me a chance.
Once this week is over, I’ll be on a new path, and I can hardly wait. Thank you all for going on this journey with me. It’s gonna be … unforgettable.
